I think this has been discussed recently on this list; try looking in the archives a few months back. Why not use OpenSSH's build in functions to allow/disallow users instead? Try looking for AllowUsers, AllowGroups, DenyUsers, and DenyGroups in sshd_config(5). Regards, Martin Skøtt
