What do you think the debian-amd64 list would recommend?
Of course it does depend on what you want to do with the machine and
such.
I run an amd64 system with sarge 32bit, a 64bit kernel and then 64bit
sarge in a chroot to play with since I mainly need 32bit stuff for what
I am doing (developing for x86 embedded) and the athlon64 just happens
to be the fastest x86 compiler you can get.
