Problem upgrading libc6

Hi,

I went to check for updates using Synaptic just now and found that I have two
broken packages (libc6-dev and locales). According to synaptic, the solution
for this seems to be to upgrade libc6. However, when I do "apt-get upgrade
libc6" I get a complaint containing the following:

  libc6-dev: Depends: libc6 (= 2.3.2.ds1-22) but 2.3.2.ds1-21 is installed
  locales: Depends: glibc-2.3.2.ds1-22

It then suggests that I run "apt-get upgrade -f libc6". This produces the
following bunch of text:

So there seems to be a problem with libc6, lsb and the /lib64 directory.

Can anyone suggest how I might get around this problem?

Thanks,

Bruce.
