Abuse (the game)

Is anybody able to run Abuse on pure64? Here it just consumes 100% CPU
without ever doing anything noticeable past displaying the following
messages:
Added himem block (3072000 bytes)
Memory available : 3071856
Abuse-SDL 0.7.0
 Abuse (Version 2.00)
Sound : Disabled (couldn't find the sfx directory)
Specs : main file set to abuse.spe
Protocol Installed : UNIX generic TCPIP

No luck trying different options (nosound, gl, edit, list). Note that
the file abuse.spe doesn't seem to exist. From other unrelated posts I
found on the net, it seems that the next message abuse should print is
actually that it's loading that file, so that might be the key.

Anyway, this game is probably not worth the effort as nobody seems to
have supported the existing ports and data files for a couple years now
(and they all admit there are known bugs). But as it is, it seems
useless in AMD64 so it might be candidate to removal.
