Firefox and java

I've downloaded jre from blackdown, in order to use it for as the java
plugin for firefox (as I saw some time ago in this list).
it's all fine but the plugin isn't shown in about:plugins
I had a look at the link I made and I got this:

$ ldd libjavaplugin_oji.so
        libjvm.so => not found
        libverify.so => not found
        libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x00002aaaaabee000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x00002aaaaad04000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00002aaaaae08000)
        /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 => /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2

libjvm and libverify are part of the blackdown, and are in some /usr subdir.
Why I get that not found?
