Hi,
I did have lpd running, but I just stopped it with "/etc/init.d/lpd
stop". But I still can't print. When I do lpstat, I get the
following:
   Printer: lp@perelandra 'HP Laserjet 4200n' (dest narnia@172.16.1.10)
 Queue: 1 printable job
 Server: pid 5910 active
 Unspooler: pid 5912 active
Status: waiting for subserver to exit at 15:14:34.117
Rank Owner/ID Pr/Class Job Files Size Time
1 root@perelandra+31 A 31 /home/ric/webhosting 949 15:14:34
Printer 'narnia@172.16.1.10' - cannot open connection - Connection refused

Do I need to completely remove lpd? If so, how? (by removing /etc/init.d/lpd?)
Thanks,
Ric
