Hi Perl people,

this caused auctex to FTBFS on amd64.  It's probably more important for
other packages that use eperl, or otherwise libperl (auctex is
architecture: all).  From the original bug report:

I hope you mean amd64, not ia64, too, because this would mean the bug is
RC for sarge.  And it should *really* be fixed even if amd64 is not an
official sarge arch.
