Likely. That is in the problem zone I think.

apt-get update
apt-get install libc6

# This might or might not fail with an "trying to overwrite error"
# If it fails use dpkg --force-overwrite

apt-get install base-files
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade
