nvidia-kernel-source

Hello there,

I have problem compiling nvidia kernel module with kernel
2.6.8-10-amd64-k8. architecture of my distro is i386 (dpkg
--print-architecture -> i386) but I have athlon64 processor.

packages:

ii  kernel-image-2.6-amd64-k8         101
ii  kernel-image-2.6.8-10-amd64-k8    2.6.8-11

ii  kernel-headers-2.6-amd64-k8       101
ii  kernel-headers-2.6.8-10           2.6.8-11
ii  kernel-headers-2.6.8-10-amd64-k8  2.6.8-11

ii  amd64-libs                        1.1
ii  amd64-libs-dev                    1.1

ii  nvidia-kernel-common              1.0.6629+1
ii  nvidia-kernel-source              1.0.6629+1-1

- if building with nvidia native installer, i've got
/var/log/nvidia-installer:

/tmp/selfgz5590/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-6629-pkg2/usr/src/nv/nv.c:1:
error: code model `kernel' not supported in the 32 bit mode

- this is also error when building module using 'debian/rules
binary_modules' with

KSRC=/usr/src/linux
KVERS=2.6.8-10-amd64-k8

- exporting CC='gcc -m64' does not help, it causes even more errors and
reference kernel headers, so i think this is not the way.

- i also used module-assistant but with same error

any idea? beside of switching to kernel for i386 arch
