sk98lin has stopped working

All,
I've got a KV8-MAX3 mother board with a built in gbit card originally
that interface used to work no problem, I was'nt even aware of what
driver it used but ever since an upgrade although the interface is up
but it would seem no traffic comes in through it only out that I could
tell through the gkrellm monitor I've tried resetting the interface
using the ifconfig command but to no avail. I have seen that the netork
interface uses the sk98lin driver.
