RE: 64-bit packaging details



I don't chime in much, but on this one I have to agree with Jeffrey.  I
prefer amd64 myself.

By-the-by, I happen to think that x86_64 is the worst possible choice of
name from this arch.  Not only does it look bad, but it is also hard to
type on a standard keyboard.  amd64 looks better and can actually be
typed by normal people.
