Bug#663505: /sbin/start-stop-daemon: s-s-d segfaults on alpha when starting rrdcached

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.16.1.2
Severity: important
File: /sbin/start-stop-daemon

I'm not sure if this is s-s-d bug or eglibc one, here is gdb session:

a02:~# gdb --args start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --oknodo --pidfile /var/run/rrdcached.pid --exec /usr/bin/rrdcached -- -l unix:/var/run/rrdcached.sock -j /var/lib/rrdcached/journal/ -F -b /var/lib/rrdcached/db/ -B -p /var/run/rrdcached.pid

I'm not sure, why this only happens rrdcached initscript.

I do not have valgrind available (as it is not available for alpha yet,
or anymore), so debuging is harder. I belive strlen problems was
discussed some time ago on debian-alpha mailing list.

Witek
