Bug#544862: libsynthesis: FTBFS on alpha

Package: libsynthesis
Version: 3.0.3.28+ds1-2
Severity: serious
Justification: no longer builds from source

libsynthesis (just added to the archive) is not compiling on alpha.

The actual error message is as follows.

sysync/debuglogger.cpp: In member function 'virtual void sysync::TDebugLoggerBase::DebugOpenBlock(const char*, const char*, bool)':
sysync/debuglogger.cpp:606: error: no matching function for call to 'sysync::TDebugLoggerBase::DebugVOpenBlock(const char*&, const char*&, bool&, NULL, NULL)'
sysync/debuglogger.h:271: note: candidates are: virtual void sysync::TDebugLoggerBase::DebugVOpenBlock(const char*, const char*, bool, const char*, va_list)
make[3]: *** [libsynthesis_la-debuglogger.lo] Error 1

the full build log is at

https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=libsynthesis;ver=3.0.3.28%2Bds1-2;arch=alpha;stamp=1251928996

With help from Karl Goetz, I have confirmed this error on another
alpha running a sid pbuilder.

For what it is worth, it builds on {i386,amd64} x {linux, kfreebsd} , s390, and sparc.
