Hi! pike7.6 has failed to build on alpha on four occasions; see <http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=alpha&pkg=pike7.6&ver=7.6.112-1>. The problem seems to be with Pike's Image.JPEG module and/or libjpeg. The build fails in slightly different ways from time to time and one of the Pike developers have managed to produce similar crashed on amd64, suggesting some kind of 64-bit-related heap corruption. I wonder if you could help and/or give advice on how to debug this. The main source of Pike's Image.JPEG module is in src/modules/_Image_JPEG/image_jpeg.c in its source tree.
