Hey Tom,

Actually, it did, but when I finally got it installed it made such a pig's ear 
out of the rest of my system that I wound up just starting over from scratch.  
It wasn't clear to me at the time the proper way to get the experimental 
package installed properly without hosing everything else.

Anyhoo, so far so good with this patched libc6.1 package, I'm still waiting 
for my kernel to build but ran KDE for a bit and messed around, I didn't get 
any zombie processes, usually I'll get at least one from artsd.
