Hmm, i'm a newbie in these things... How do you installed this newer
version of thunar with aptitude. I've googled about it and found some
threads about apt-pinning, but i think i've made some mistakes here and
aptitude don't show me the newer version. Can you tell me how it works?

First you'll need to add an unstable repository to your
/etc/apt/sources.list e.g:

"deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ unstable main"

Then update the package lists:

# apt-get update

Now simply install thunar:

# apt-get install -tunstable thunar

Afterwards you can remove the unstable repository from
/etc/apt/sources.list if you don't need it anymore.
As far as I remember I also needed to upgrade some xfce4 libs to get
thunar from unstable work in stable.
