On my AlphaStation 255:

$ uname -a
Linux centauri 2.6.8.1 #2 Sat Mar 5 18:41:25 GMT 2005 alpha GNU/Linux
$ tecnoballz 
configfile::fopen_data(): Warning: Unable to open the file "/usr/home/pak21/.tlkgames/tecnoballz.conf" for read!!!
open /dev/sequencer: No such device or address
Segmentation fault

I can do further investigation if required (but probably not very
quickly).
