Re: 2.6.8-1-generic kernel on Alphastation 500/500 still without EXT3, mm/slab.c bug, no LVM

Is there a kernel image of 2.6 available without this bug? Looked at 
http://people.debian.org/~nobse/kernel/alpha/ but 2.6.8-6 is the same I 
tried and rather new, and 2.6.9 is an older compilation...
