many RX packages lost, bad connection

TO be concise:

After recompiling and rebooting a kernel (just adding one IDE interface)
I get *horrible* transfer rates and mayn RX packet errors:

Do you have any idea what could be the reason for this?

Best wishes

One who continually bemoans the 'loss' of the word 'gay' to the
English language, even though they had never used the word in any
context at all until they started complaining that they couldn't use
it any more.
