The "no error handling" error message you see under 2.6.x is really
more a "prod", done in hopes that someone (usually the driver author)
will get around to meeting the desired requirements for driver error
handling available under the 2.6 kernels.

It is just noise, and is unlikely to be fixed, since the original
author(s) of that QLogic driver have long since left its maintenance
to the kindness of strangers... ;-}

Ignore it, and look elsewhere for problems.

One known workaround for the deficiencies of that driver is to ONLY
have harddisks, or ONLY tape/CDROM, on its bus, as it often doesn't do
well with "mixed devices".So, if you have a SCSI CDROM, replace it with
an IDE one and leave just harddisks on the QLogic.

Good luck.
