Installing Woody on Multia
Hello,
I have an alpha Multia (UDB) with a scsi cd-rom but no floppy drive. I has a
hdd with 3 partitions, one of which has MILO.
I can boot to the MILO prompt ok (either via the hdd or from disk1 of the
Woody cd set).
I do not know what to type at the MILO prompt. Is it possible to boot and
install from the CD-ROM from the MILO prompt?
I've tried:
boot scd0:/boot/linux root=/dev/scd0
which starts to load, but then faults out with "Kernel panic: No init found"
Can anyone help me with this one?
Thanks,
Dave.
