RE: 2.6.0-test9 kernel....



Actually I'm using an ISA NE2000 clone - all my PCI
slots are full (might be dumping the bttv card soon
to move back to a de500).

Out of curiosity, what network card are you using?  There appears to be
a bug in the de4x5 driver that can (and does, for myself on alpha, a
couple of other people on ppc32, and someone on i386) cause the system
to hang very soon after the network interface is brought up...
