Boot on network for initial install: the BOOTP server replies but the Alpha ignores it
I try to install Debian on an AlphaServer 1200 (Rawhide) with a TFTP
server. SRM starts, I "b -protocols bootp -file alphaboot.img ewa0"
but the Alpha does not receive an IP address and keep saying
"Broadcasting BOOTP request"
On the BOOTP/DHCP server, I see the requests and the reply so I assume
Ethernet connectivity is OK.
daemon.log on the BOOTP/DHCP server:
Apr 17 16:41:44 eve dhcpd-2.2.x: BOOTREQUEST from 00:00:f8:10:b0:65 via eth0 (non-rfc1048)
Apr 17 16:41:44 eve dhcpd-2.2.x: BOOTREPLY for 192.134.7.241 to astrid2 (00:00:f8:10:b0:65) via eth0
tcpdump on the BOOTP/DHCP server:

So, the server replies, why does my Alpha ignores it?
