Opera 7 for alpha linux

I sent an email to the makers of Opera about version 7 for alpha linux.  It
seems version 7 isn't out yet for anything other than windows.  They do
release for i386, ppc, and sparc linux, and will soon.  They stated that if
there was enough interest, they would consider it.

I've used opera and I'm very impressed with its speed (at least on win32 it
is much much faster than mozilla).  It is also very small and uses less CPU
power and memory.  I know it isn't open source, but it is a viable
alternative, and if you are a student, the price is only $20.
