Ruffian maximum memory and debian
Hi,
I'm considering to put more memory to a ruffian machine running linux.
I would like to know the maximum memory anyone has installed in a
Ruffian (164UX) motherboard with a working debian.
Two issues.
First, the user's manual tell one place up to 3GB, but in other place up
to 1,5GB. Latter could be because of available memory modules when this
motherboard was comercialised. But anyone has tried to put up to 3GB ?
Second, in the debian installer guide talk about a problem with more
than 521MB for installation and a workaround for this. Are there any
other issues with memory upgrading ?
Thanks all,
Unai
