Huge amounts of kernel warnings

Hi,

I recently upgraded my kernel from 2.4.18 to 2.4.19. The only thing I
added was support for IPv6 tunnels, as I need to work with them. My
previous kernel was pretty solid - Yes, I got lots of unaligned traps, but
they are not caused by the kernel itself, they are caused by applications
instead.

Yesterday/today I found this in my /var/log:

-rw-r----- 1 root adm 322M Oct 10 10:24 kern.log
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 267M Oct 10 10:25 messages
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 275M Oct 10 10:25 syslog

And by far, most of this huge logs are repetitions of bursts of between 1
and 20 times per second of messages following this format:

Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: pc = [clear_page+36/80] ra = [do_wp_page+404/832] ps = 0000 Not tainted
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: v0 = 0000000000000035 t0 = 0000000000000001 t1 = fffffc00005b9640
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: t2 = 0000000000003b88 t3 = 0000000000000000 t4 = 0000000000003b88
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: t5 = ffffffffce7e3268 t6 = 0000000120020578 t7 = fffffc0006d58000
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: a0 = fffffc00077112c0 a1 = 0000000000000000 a2 = fffffc0000578100
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: a3 = fffffc0007191728 a4 = 000001850004030d a5 = 00000000000098f8
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: t8 = 0000000000000000 t9 = 0000000120002cd0 t10= 000000006a2d8986
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: t11= 00000000000004fe pv = fffffc00004da7f0 at = 0000000000000000
Oct 6 14:45:03 conetontli kernel: gp = fffffc00005b1ee0 sp = fffffc0006d5be30

Now, I understand that a processor register dump does not provide much
insight. I cannot find a pattern that triggers this - It usually happens
at different times of the day (that means, it is not related to my
physical activity on the machine, nor the network, as my segment is quite
quiet at night), with periods of up to four hours with no warnings... But
sometimes periods of continual activity for 40 minutes!

Does someone have a clue?
