I've installed kernel-image 2.4.18 and it looks like it's all there,
but it hangs my machine... :(

I've tried different milo versions , but that did not make any difference.
I also tried different boot params including noinitrd or
initrd=/boot/initrd.img-2.4.18-generic , as supplied with the kernel,
but apart from a message that the initrd image is to large(?)
all have the same result:
After loading the kernel , it does "jumping to virt. adressing mode"
and dies after printing a line of dashes.
crtl-alt-delete do not work , totally hung up.

Is there anything else to try ? Or is 2.4.18 broken on a multia ?
Is it compiled for EV4 ?

TIA,

Jaap
