RE: greetings

We just installed debian 2.2 on our miata 500a
we can't get X to run yet (powerstorm 4D51T vid card .... any hints out
there?)
but during the xf86config I did see
that you needed an explicit path to the mouse device.
We're using a PS/2 mouse so I had to use

/dev/psaux

as the path to the mouse, then after trying to get X windows
to work for most of the afternoon I just made a symbolic link
between /dev/mouse and /dev/psaux

ln -s /dev/psaux /dev/mouse

then it's easy to accept the default and have it picked up.
There didn't seem to be any /dev/mouse by default.
It seems Debian wants the user to put those little things in.

Cheers,
David Creed
