I guess I better clarify my point, I made it sound like MILO was the
problem but it is not, it works fine. It is actually as Don put it, the
kernel code that is the problem, not Milo. Sorry for that fuzzy comment.
I will attempt to be a little more specific in my comments next time :)

Apparently my board is using the 21172 Logic chipset and still having
some issues with the 2.4.x kernel. Perhaps I shall have to try what Don
did and see if I can pin-point the problem I am having.

Dunno if this will help or not...  From the sounds of your messages your

problem is probably something different from mine, but is probably 
located within the same segment of source code as mine...the core_cia.c 
code.
