Do you have some test images (CD or floppy) flying around somewhere ?
I though of helping a little as well (I got di from CVS and looked at
it) but it seems like I have to go to unstable to do it ? (This is
currently not an option, because I am using a modem and already
getting the apt-files takes quite a while). But I can burn/write
CD/floppy images just fine at the university and currently I have a
unused disk anyway so I'd like to do some tests on my machine and
report bugs if possible.

Greetings
