Re: 164SX Memory



While I have a 164LX board I am under the impression that the only
difference is the onboard memory.  I was unable to get my LX to accept
non-ECC memory, you may wish to check the docs.  If you have a stick of
regular PC100 then you might try that. In my case, the machine powered
up but stoped there.  No video signal and it just kept repeating the 5
consecutive beeps to indicate no memory present.
