If this is woody (most likely), you can get a locales deb that has fixed
dependencies at:
	http://people.debian.org/~chris

It's in there amidst the xfree86 debs.  The dependency problem has already
been reported and I'm just waiting for Ben Collins to do another upload
so that I can get new Alpha debs compiled (he's working on it now).

Hmmm...could be cabling or connections.  I had this problem awhile ago on
my SX, but it went away after I swapped my old cable with another one that
offered me more connections (which I needed at the time).
