I noticed this yesterday when I wanted to upload an update to jzip
linked against libncurses5 (not 4). Lo and behold, it was depending on
both, since ldd goes recursive. I posted this on debian-devel, and for the
next edition of Debian apparently, objdump will be used instead to find
dependencies. That would confine screw-ups to individual packages -
however, how many packages have been uploaded in the meantime depending on
both libncurses versions?
