Re: 2.2.{9,10} strangeness (SEGV/ILL in INIT)

I had to reboot yesterday after running 2.2.9 for 3 days and 9 hours
on my Ruffian. I got a Yamaha CDRW to stick into my Ruffian. :)

After the reboot everything was fine, but some time later INIT
segfaulted and said (from memory)

INIT: SEGFAULT: sleeping for 30 seconds.

That was reapeated a lot of times and I could neigther reboot, halt
nor switch runlevels.

I unmounted as many drives as possible (several processes couldn`t be
killed) and powered down.

Now its running again without any problems so far.
