Just a few notes. I run autofs and knfs/knfsd between my two boxes at home (i486 and alpha) with no problems at all. However, this configuration is not under very much load at all. You should be aware that knfsd is still considered BETA (maybe even ALPHA), so I wouldn't expect it to be nearly as stable as the userland server. Martin
