libc6

Hi,

This might be a frequently asked one, but what is the difference between 
libc6 and libc6.1 ?

Some packages (such as giflib3g used by Eterm) depend on libc6 but they do not
recognize libc6.1 as a correct alternative.

I tried to configure it with --force-depends, but that seems to be a bad
solution.
