I've tried a number of things from there, and it basically looks fine
(except the xterm 'stty olcuc' problem already mentioned, and xterm
emulation screwups). So, basically, I'd say go for it. If you need help
with the xterm stuff, let me know and I'll have a look.

One note: I have a Matrox Millenium 2MB, and when using the SVGA server
in 8bpp and 16bpp it's fine. However, I tried 24bpp last night: total,
absolute lockup. The machine wasn't even ping-able :-(

I noticed that a couple of X utilities weren't available, e.g.
xlockmore. Anyone working on those, or shall I have a go? Just for fun I
pulled the 1.3.1 xlockmore sources and did a build of that. That went
fine (except that -lcrypt had to be added), and it even works! :-)
So, hopefully, compiling other stuff should go just as smoothly.
