Personal Workstation 500 installation

I'm preparing to install Debian on a Personal Workstation 500a.  Given
what little I know about this, I'm assuming that I ought to be using the
Miata disks.  Am I right?  Also, I may as well ask: Is there any chance
that the video hardware in this machine (a Digital PowerStorm 4D10T) is
supported by, for example, any X server?  Or is it just a Digital name
on a Other Company, Inc. product?
