I it quite easy to put raid into the 2.0.x kernel series. I'm running
it on a handful of machines without incident for four months.
I believe that one of the kernels, 2.0.3?, has the raid stuff in the
standard tree. The tricky part is compiling raidtools as it requires
threads.
