RE: How do I know which kernel to use?



The DEC 3000 (code-named Flamingo) is a turbochannel based machine. This
machine has no PCI bus.
Unforturnately turbochannel-based systems are _NOT_ supported! Nor will
it ever be (not enough demand), IMHO.
Alpha-PCI-based systems are your best bet, as they are available in
abundance and cheap!
