No objections; however, there is another consistency to consider:
vmlinuz (if I remember correctly) is a self-unpacking kernel image,
while alpha's vmlinux.gz is a normal gzipped file. Even if MILO looks
at the magic number, people still prefer file name suffices. Knowing
that, say, vmlinux-VERSION.gz is a real gzipped file may potentially be
helpful. That is, there is actually a choice which consistency to break.
