I meant same in the filesystem.  Sorry I didn't specify that earlier.  My
mind is fried.

I thought that was the case also, but looking through the latest 2.0-based
MILO source, I can only find that it checks the magic number of the file
first and not the name.

Agreed.  Symlinks would be preferable.

Hmmmm...that's not a bad idea.  Looking at MILO, it's pretty extendible,
but definitely convoluted :(

I'm looking into getting it to compile now.  It's brutal and so far
unsuccessful :(  After I can get it going, then we can start playing with
it.
