Info request...

Hi all...

I know I've been kinda passive since I've returned from vacation, but
that's because I've been working like a dog and have a nasty cold :(

Anyway, on to the point...

I decided to start a Debian-Alpha (and somewhat general Alpha) web page
and am writing it now. I intend to address several things including:

* General status of project
* Link to the Alpha bug tracking system
* Known available packages (on master and on other sites)
* Links to Debian and Alpha-related FTP sites
* Common x86->Alpha porting solutions
* Anything else I can think of, including mailing list links and e-mail
  links to specific people (like me)

I have alot of the above in my brain so far. I am, however, requesting
any ideas or information that you all feel is missing. Also, I want to
fill the porting solutions page with great tips to help those who wanted
to help with the project but aren't sure where to start or how to go about
identifying and fixing the common problems that we've encountered.

Ideas can be either mailed directly to me (chris@beezer.med.miami.edu) or
posted to the list. I would prefer posting them to the list since any
tips that come up are better shared and archived in the list archives :)

This page is probably gonna be temporary as far as the Debian portions go,
but if the tips and links are useful, then I'll probably revamp the page
and make it more permanent when the Debian-Alpha release is finished. Any
feedback on this idea is also appreciated. FYI, I decided to do this
after a few e-mail exchanges with the maintainers of the existing
Linux-Alpha page. Although they are incredibly nice guys, they didn't
seem to receptive towards putting Debian info on their pages. I also
thought that some sort of common reference point is needed for anyone
wanting to help.

Thanks :)
Chris
