raidtools-0.50beta3 compile problems

I've got the 2.0.36 kernel on a LX164 compiled with the md driver and raid
modules.

here is:

/proc/mdstat

Personalities : [2 raid0]
read_ahead not set
md0: inactive
**snipped*

and the compile error:

raidadd.c: In function `do_mdstop':

Does anyone know what is causing this? Anywhere I can get a working copy
to get my array up and running? Thanks.
