Hi all
I thought of writing a GUI configuration tool specific for Debian. Quick
description: Each package has a .dconf file, like squid/apache.dconf. This
file defines:
- Different configuration options and what they should look like. In other
words: widgets, like val = var (basicval); val = true/false (basicbool) etc.
- How the config option should look like to the user, again use widgets, like
a checkbox for true/false and a field for name=val.
I didn't know this list existed, but now that I do I'd like to find out if
there are any other configuration projects already under way, so we could talk
a bit, work together and not duplicate effort.
Regards
