fetchmail
please help
I have a Problem with fetchmail and my dialup connection to the ISP.
following problem:
1.) I call fetchmail in the commandline .... the ppp connection will be
established ... the first mail-user gets an error messagage and no mails,
the following users get their mails:
Jun 27 09:01:01 HK01 fetchmail[13054]: timeout after 60 seconds waiting to
connect to server mail.tirol.com.
Jun 27 09:01:01 HK01 fetchmail[13054]: client/server synchronization error
while fetching from mail.tirol.com
Jun 27 09:01:01 HK01 fetchmail[13054]: Query status=7
Jun 27 09:01:06 HK01 fetchmail[13054]: No mail for heiss.sabrina at
194.232.15.33
Jun 27 09:01:11 HK01 fetchmail[13054]: No mail for heiss.konni at
194.232.15.33
2.) if there is a connection (I send a ping to the provider and wait, until
the pings are ok) and I run fetchmail, all the mails are fetched ok and I
get following mail.log:
Jun 27 12:07:25 HK01 fetchmail[14504]: No mail for heiss.konrad at
194.232.15.33
Jun 27 12:07:36 HK01 fetchmail[14504]: No mail for heiss.sabrina at
194.232.15.33
Jun 27 12:07:42 HK01 fetchmail[14504]: No mail for heiss.konni at
194.232.15.33

Question:
is it possible, to tell fetchmail to wait, until the dialup connection is
powerd up???
