I am not familiar with the way fvwm2 is configured. Could you explain a
little how it is done? In any case, a path mechanism can be used to locate
tables: the processor looks for a table in a local directory
first, if not found it looks for it in a system directory and proceeds to a
remote directory as a last resort.

Is that what you need?
