Hi john doe,

It depends very much on the Debian maintainer - you can't always rely
on someone being able to keep up, even in sid.

Please *don't* use sid if you want any form of stability / significant
help - Debian stable is much more straightforward if you want others
to be able to help you.

Which version of GNOME - do remember that Trixie's been in development
for two years or so before release and got GNOME at a relatively late
version just before final release.
