Not sure: it will depend on what works in the memory that you have available.

Calamares is very different - and graphical - and does not allow
the same level of customisation as expert mode. It might work for
you but it's very hard to tell what will work for you without actually
being you..

The text-based installer within the live image is subtly different
because it relies on unpacking the software within the compressed image.
If you already know the expert installer within the netinst, use it
The text installer within the netinst is well tested and is the "standard"
installer. [Disclaimer: I generally use the text mode expert installer
myself - and I'm the one that tends to test text mode installs on any
point release :) - so I'm definitely not the person to give unbiased advice.
I've only done a few speech installs, though, that's usually done by another
person who generally does this].
We do know that the Debian installer including non-free firmware was
explicitly intended to make sure that a speech install would work - and
it does.
