Hi.
I was installing on a 11th gen Lenovo Carbon X1 last night, and against
my typical practice I decided to try D-I.
I ran into something that looks a lot like the espeakup hangs that
people have been struggling with on arm64.
I was using the 12.5 netinst iso for amd64.
The installer would speak for a while and then suddenly stop.
If I dropped to a shell on ctrl-alt-f2 and then killed `pidof espeakup`
and restarted espeakup, things would continue.
Interestingly after I restarted espeakup it tended to get more stable.
I was more interested in installing my system (after which I do not
typically use espeakup much) than in debugging.
However it is easy enough for me to reproduce.
Unfortunately, d-i isn't the greatest environment for debugging
something like this.
I thought it was interesting because if the problem is broader than
arm64, it might be easier to approach.
